Water: A beauty and a health secret, that’s free

In a new article written by Steven Horne, Tree of Light Publishing, the work of Dr F Batmaghelidj is reviewed.

Who is Dr F Batmaghelidj I hear you ask? I’ve put a short biography at the end of the post for those of you who want to find out a little more about this extraordinary man.

There are some easy points to learn from Hornes article, that you can put into action, straight away:
• Don’t wait until you’re thirsty to take a drink of water
• Many drinks are diuretic so they cause the body to flush out more water than they contain. So if you’re drinking coffee, tea, lemonade, colas and alcohol you need even more water to replace what you’ve lost

And the beauty secret?
• Ageing is a process of increasing dehydration. You just have to compare children’s skin, which is well hydrated to older peoples, where the skin is more dehydrated, to see the difference, or in Steven’s words, just compare a grape with a raisin. So drink more water to keep wrinkles at bay.

And what about your health?
Even slight decreases in hydration in the brain cause problems with memory and focus. Dr B identified 90 health problems associated with dehydration including allergies and asthma, anxiety, depression, hypertension, headaches and joint pains – to name just a few.

Horne also suggests that if you’re taking any supplements they aren’t going to be as well absorbed and therefore as effective if you are not well hydrated.

So what are you waiting for? Up your water consumption and you’ll help yourself to stay looking younger, longer and who knows you may experience other health benefits as a bonus.

PS Try to drink purified water, that doesn’t contain chlorine, fluoride or other contaminants.
